About Dr. Ashley Boccio
Dr. Ashley Boccio received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and competed for the Division I Nittany Lions in women’s lacrosse. Here she earned several Academic and Athletic Honors.
Dr. Boccio then continued to pursue her passion for medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Here she held various scholarly positions, stood as a student ambassador for three years, and completed several publications in journals and conferences.
Dr. Ashley Boccio went on to complete her three-year surgical training at the distinguished Northwell Health System at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Hospital. During her podiatric residency, she was trained in both non-operative and operative management of foot and ankle pathology. She conducted various propositions for future research and received the Resident of the Year award. During her residency, she focused on reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, performing nearly 700 procedures.
