About Dr. Heather Leeb
Heather A. Leeb, D.P.M., grew up on Long Island in an active family and spent much of her time training to dance, running track and playing travel soccer; winning the Long Island Waldbaum’s Cup.Â
Early on she had firsthand experience with the benefits of Podiatry when she broke her foot in high school and again in college. Quality foot care had her up and running again in no time.Â
Dr. Leeb understands the patience and compassion necessary to provide effective care for patients. Together, she and patients create holistic programs to treat not only the pain, but also the cause of ailments.Â
Dr. Leeb graduated as salutatorian from West Hempstead High School before graduating from Boston University, where she received a BA in Biology. She later graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with honors and completed her residency caring for US Military veterans at the VA NY Harbor Healthcare hospitals in Manhattan and Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn. Dr. Leeb has affiliations at Winthrop University Hospital and local surgery centers.
Dr. Heather Leeb is married and lives in Nassau County with their dog, a Shiba Inu, named Lotus. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, boating and has an extensive shoe collection. Dr. Leeb is a proud member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
