About Dr. Matthew Pitre

Dr. Matthew Pitre was born and raised on Long Island. He completed his undergraduate studies at Adelphi University, graduating cum laude in 2016. He then attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated in 2020.

Dr. Pitre completed a rigorous three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. During his residency, he was trained in both operative and non-operative management of foot and ankle pathology. His surgical training focused on:

  • Diabetic limb salvage
  • Deformity correction
  • Trauma

He also spent two months at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, receiving additional training in the management of advanced limb pathology. In recognition of his excellence, Dr. Pitre was honored as the Podiatry Resident of the Year during his senior year.

Dr. Pitre has successfully completed the ACFAS Arthroscopy of the Foot and Ankle Skills Course and the AO Internal Fixation Course. He is currently board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is actively working toward board certification.

Dr. Pitre takes pride in providing his patients with comprehensive and personalized care.
