Dr. Daniel Stern is the Founder and CEO Longwood Foot and Ankle Care. 

With over 30 years of clinical practice and over 10,000 surgical procedures preformed, he is a greatly respected and well sought after doctor in the medical community. 

Having grown up in Massapequa, Long Island, Dr. Stern went on to attend The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science where he earned his B.S. in Pharmacy. This gave him a solid background in the pharmacological sciences.

Following his passion for patient care Dr. Stern attended The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, now known as the prestigious Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a podiatric surgical residency at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, training with leaders in foot reconstruction and limb salvage. He then returned to Long Island to establish his practice, providing expert and compassionate care to thousands of patients.

He has authored many publications and has lectured at numerous conferences. Dr. Stern is known as an innovator as he made revolutionary changes to neuroma surgery. Partnering with Dr. A. Mirza MD, he developed the uniportal endoscopic neuroma decompression system. Using a minimally invasive approach, thus lowering the morbidity associated with neuroma surgery allowing patients to recover faster. Dr. Stern is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is currently the Chief of the Podiatry department at Mather Hospital and is on staff at St. Charles Hospital.

Dr. Stern enjoys his Peloton bike, his lovely wife, three children and his newest love Finley, his grandson.
